Advertising Terms And Conditions

The following conditions govern our acceptance of all advertisements for publication in part or all New Homes titles and the placing of an advertisement by any advertiser is deemed to be an acceptance of these conditions.

1. The Advertiser

The advertiser undertakes to provide material in any advertisement or editorial, which is or may be illegal or libellous or involve any infringement of copyright, trademark, patent or design.

Advertisements must also comply with the requirements of all relevant legislation and codes of practice governing the advertising and property paper industries in force in the United Kingdom at the time the advertisement was booked.

2. Right to refuse

Property Papers Ltd reserves the right to cancel or refuse to accept any order or part of an order without giving any explanation and shall not be held liable for any loss occasioned by failure of an advertisement to appear or any damage of inconvenience caused by omissions & misprints.

Property Papers Ltd also reserve the right to cancel without any liability to the advertiser if:

The advertiser becomes insolvent or is adjudged bankrupt. The advertiser is already in arrears with any payment due

3. Liability

Property Papers Ltd accepts no liability for content of advertisements, whether this is for accuracy or other detail, as supplied by the advertiser.

We will make all reasonable efforts to ensure accuracy, at all times, however:

No guarantee can be given that an advertisement will appear on a specified date or in any particular position although every effort will be made to meet advertisers' requirements.

Should there be any mistake or inaccuracy, including colour reproduction, we will re-insert the advert or the relevant parts of the advert to rectify the error. A reasonable refund may be offered at our discretion and it will not exceed the full amount of the advertisement cost.

Property Papers Ltd reserves the right to make reasonable changes to the size of adverts or alterations in accordance with any size specifications given.

Advertiser's property including photographs and artwork supplied to the publisher will be held at the advertiser's risk. If requested the publisher shall use its best endeavours to return such property in good condition.

4. Bookings and Copy

Bookings should be received at least 7 days prior to publication. If less notice is given, bookings cannot be guaranteed.

It is the advertiser's responsibility to ensure that copy is received in accordance with the copy deadline.

Copy deadline is 6 days prior to publication.

Where copy does not arrive in time to meet the deadline, Property Papers Ltd reserves the right to use this space for another purpose and the advertiser is still liable for full payment. The advertiser is advised that every effort will be made to carry the advertisement.

5. Cancellations

All cancellations are required in writing and the following charge will be due:

  • Over 7 days notice No charge
  • Less than 7 days 100%

6. Payment terms

Credit accounts are available, at the discretion of Property Papers Ltd, and if agreed require payment with 30-days of date of publication.

Where no credit facilities exist, full payment is required 4 days prior to publication

7. Data Protection

Advertising with New Homes assumes compliance with the reasonable processing of any company data relating to the advertiser as defined in the Data Protection Act 1998.

Property Papers Ltd is a registered data holder and reserves the right to disclose information relating to its advertisers in order to comply with applicable law, legitimate government or other regulatory requests.
